Three friends from Esposende
We were born in Minho, in Esposende, a small fishing town where the river meets the Atlantic. We grew up between the mountains, the sea and the rural villages of Northern Portugal.
Nortada Travels was born to show our home through local eyes, with depth, authenticity and real connection.

Environmental regeneration
Our trips go through the North Coast Natural Park and Peneda-Gerês National Park, with activities that give back: cleaning a beach, planting trees or helping a local environmental project.
Conscious tourism
We support micro-local businesses, help keep traditions alive and choose hotels over tourist flats in local homes, to respect local housing needs.
Why Northern Portugal?
Here, time has not erased everything. Traditional taverns still exist, elderly women carry ancient knowledge, recipes taste exactly as our grandmothers made them and old villages still tell their stories. Sea and mountains, honest food and welcoming people, in the greenest region of mainland Portugal.
