Here's the plan

  1. Day 1

    Arrival & settling in

Arrival in Esposende, check-in and time to settle into your accommodation. Take a first walk around the town and discover the surrounding area before joining the welcome dinner, where the group, guides and experience are introduced.

  2. Day 2

    Exploring the coast

Start the day with a gentle yoga session followed by breakfast at the accommodation. With no rush and no schedules to worry about, we explore the town by bicycle, visiting some of its most iconic spots. After lunch, enjoy free time on the beach, with optional surf lessons for the more adventurous, continuing until sunset over the Atlantic.

  3. Day 3

    Authentic nature

After breakfast, we head to Peneda-Gerês National Park, the only national park in Portugal and one of the most well-preserved natural areas in the Iberian Peninsula. River trekking through streams and waterfalls, a picnic surrounded by nature, workshops on edible wild plants and, to finish the day, a relaxing experience in natural outdoor hot springs.

  4. Day 4

    Leaving a positive impact

Following a morning Chi Kung session and breakfast, the group takes part in activities designed to give something back to the region. Depending on the season, activities may include reforestation projects, litter collection or the removal of invasive plant species, always in collaboration with local environmental organisations. In the afternoon, a road trip through the municipality's most remarkable attractions, ending with a traditional Portuguese dinner accompanied by live Fado music.

  5. Day 5

    River, craft & community

After breakfast, we follow a scenic trail leading to the river, where there is time for a refreshing swim and a guided breathing session. During the afternoon, take part in a sustainable local handicraft workshop before enjoying time along the banks of the Cávado River, with optional canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding. The day ends with a relaxed riverside dinner shared with the group.

  6. Day 6

    Northern Portugal road trip

A full day exploring some of the most iconic destinations in Northern Portugal, from charming inland towns rich in history and culture to stunning coastal communities shaped by the Atlantic. These are the places that remain in memory long after the journey ends.

  7. Day 7

    Until the next adventure

Time for last souvenirs, one final walk along the beach and perhaps a peaceful stroll through the beautiful pine forest surrounding the accommodation. Share final moments and reflections with the group before departure. And then… until the next experience.

Your only task is to relax, be present and let local hosts and guides lead the way, in a sustainable and responsible way.

What is included in the price?

Accommodation, activities, transportation, breakfast, insurance and selected meals are included. Flights are not included.

Can I join alone?

Absolutely. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 guests and often include solo travellers, couples and small groups of friends from different nationalities. Most guests leave not only with memories, but with genuine friendships.

Where will we stay?

In Esposende, a small coastal town in Northern Portugal surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the Cávado River and gentle green hills.

How fit do I need to be?

You don't need to train for it. There's biking, walks in nature and some time in the river, but nothing technical, and no one is left behind.

Do I get my own room, or do I share?

Rooms are shared, two people to a room. A private room is possible if there's space, for an extra fee. The earlier you book, the better your chances.

Which airport should I fly into?

Porto (Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport). It's the closest to Esposende, where the experience begins.

How do I get from the airport to Esposende?

Buses, including Flixbus, run from Porto Airport to Esposende's bus station. We can also arrange a shuttle for an extra charge. From the bus station, we take you straight to the hotel.

Will the food work for vegetarians or vegans?

Meals lean on Portuguese cooking, with plenty of meat, fish and dairy, but most dishes can be adapted. Tell us about allergies or dietary needs in your request so we can plan around them.
